In 2007 for veteran's day, the Northbridge American Legion participated in the Uxbridge parade. The vehicle's driven in this parade are completely restored WWII era vehicle's owned by Jim Knott; a well known Northbridge native. Jim's passion for quality in restoring these vehicle's to their original condition the is displayed in the below pictures. All of these vehicle's were used in military service during WWII, and though they are now 60+ years old, they look like they just came off the assembly line! Also pictured is the Uxbridge high school marching band preparing to line up, and a unit of Union Soldiers in full gear representing the Civil War era. We are certainly looking forward to Veteran's day 2008 where we hope once again to participate.
